My name is Steve Frost, and I’ll be your instructor for 10 fun days of log home building. I’ve been building log homes for more than 30 years with my business Logworks Construction, and during this time have built more than 400 homes, from log doghouses to 12,000 sq/ft mansions. I’ve built in 11 of the 50 states and also in three other countries. There are more than 100 homes I’ve built within 15 miles of our area.

Though I love building homes for other people, I now feel that it is time to share my knowledge with others so that they may gain the expertise to do what I have loved doing for over 30 years. I believe in hands-on training and having fun, so be ready to dive in and get your hands dirty. I’ll be there with you every step of the way. And even when your course is over, you can call me and ask me any questions that you might have, whether it be on your jobsite or while working on your own dream house.
